Newsletter2017 Dues are due!

It's that time of year! The 2017 dues are due! Dues are used for general upkeep of the common areas as well as maintenance of our community. Dues amount remains unchanged at $250.00. Please write checks or money order to Evergreen HOA. Remit to Keya Veney at 16916 119th Ave Ct E Puyallup, WA 98374 by May 10, 2017. There is a proposal to increase dues for RENTAL properties to $350.00. If that measure passes, a notice for the additional $100 will be sent to the affected property owners. For a look at the proposed 2017 budget, please visit the document section on the website. (the 2017 expenditures were discussed at the last Homeowners meeting in Nov 2016). At the 2016 Homeowners meeting, several expenditure needs were discussed that needed further research. Those items have been researched and details can be found in the 2017 proposed budget document on the website. Please review and submit your vote to approve.

Money and FinancesRental House Dues Increase to $350 per year.

At the last annual meeting it was proposed to increase the yearly dues from $250 to $350 per year on rental properties. There are several reasons for this proposal. 1) Constant reprogramming of call box and remotes with tenant changes. This is a time consuming task. 2) HOA board members often have to manage issues about the CC&R with tenants. Extra vehicles, keeping yard maintenance up, take down Christmas lights, along with many other issues that come up. 3) Rental houses do not participate in work parties to complete tasks so we don't have to outsource and control expenses. We take attendance as to who helps with projects so that we don't get burn out of homeowners who help.
